The Phoenix High School Concert Band offers, for those unable to participate in Symphonic Band, a chance to continue performing. The Concert Band performs at many festivals, competitions and concerts throughout the year. In this course the students will learn basic music theory as applicable to performance, basic ensemble, rehearsal and performance practices, as well as individual instrument skills. |

The Phoenix High School Pirate Marching Band competes every fall in several shows and football games. The group, consisting of over 80 members, performs theme based field shows. Students inivolved in the marching program greatly increase their performing skills and have a great time doing it. |

The Percussion Ensemble @ Phoenix High School consists of over 20 members. After the Fall Marching season, The Winter Percussion Ensemble performs shows for competitions and basketball games. The percussion group includes battery(marching) and concert percussion styles. |
